BuildSavanna uses token-based AI under the hood (Groq, Whisper, etc.), but you never have to manage tokens directly. Each plan includes a fair-usage AI allowance sized for normal chatbot, assistant, analytics, and POS voice-to-text usage. We meter calls and seconds internally and absorb those AI costs as long as you stay within your plan’s normal range. If your AI usage is consistently extreme (e.g. very heavy automation or long voice sessions), we’ll warn you in advance and either recommend an upgrade or add a dedicated AI usage pack—no silent overages.

On higher tiers you can plug in your own AI keys (e.g. OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Groq). When BYOK is enabled, all traffic routed through your own keys is billed directly to your provider account, not to BuildSavanna. Your subscription then mainly covers the orchestration layer, workflows, and monitoring, while you control which models you use, how hard you push them, and what you spend on raw AI tokens.

We don’t bill per message. Your subscription covers a pool of “engaged contacts” – one engaged contact = one unique person who both sends you a message and receives at least one reply in the same calendar month. If they never reply, or you never answer, you’re not charged for that contact.

No. All plans include conversations but zero bundled broadcast credit. Broadcast campaigns are pay-as-you-go on top of your subscription.

You pre-load a broadcast wallet inside BuildSavanna. We charge you exactly Meta’s official WhatsApp rates per template type (Marketing, Utility, Authentication) with no markup. We absorb the Gupshup BSP fee and the payment-gateway fee on our side.
